I agree Policies * The Stable 41 Market is a local marketplace that allows attendees to purchase high-quality, locally grown and produced products. A “producer” is the person who grows, makes, or participates in the production or development of the product. The Market prioritizes products made, grown, or produced by the vendor or vendor’s team. Reselling products is not allowed. The exception to this rule is a farm business that locally sources produce or homegrown products to benefit farmers who otherwise wouldn’t be able to sell at the market. Resell vendors, such as Mary Kay, Tupperware, Scentsy, etc., will be allowed to vend as local businesses during certain markets. Non-profit organizations may also resell products to support their organization or cause. I agree Vendor Guidlines * • Vendor spaces are 10’ x 10’ under a covered pavilion or uncovered on the patio space next to the pavilion. If an uncovered space is assigned, the vendor will be notified in advance so they can prepare. • The market staff will assign vendor space assignments each week. The staff will create a vendor space layout and send it to all the vendors before the market. Each vendor will be set up in their designated spaces on market day. • Vendors must inform the market staff they will be in attendance three days before the market date to set up at the market. • Vendors may begin setting up one hour before the start of the market. The gates will be opened at 8:00 am on Saturdays and 2:00 pm on Thursdays for vendors to enter the pavilion. • Vendors must remove and pack up their booths by one hour after the market. • Vendors must leave their market space clean and free of trash. A fine of $50.00 will be issued to any vendor who leaves their space for cleanup by the market staff after the market closes. If a vendor consistently leaves their space in poor condition, they will be dismissed from the market, and their membership will be revoked. • Vendors shall not sell products prior to the opening hours of each market day. The exception is pick-up orders and subscriptions. • Vendors are responsible for all licenses and certifications tied to their products. Vendors are advised to keep copies of licenses and certifications displayed at their booth. • Vendors are responsible for setting their prices and labeling their products accurately. • Vendor displays are the responsibility of the vendor. Display items may include tables, signs, racks, and shelves, but they are not limited to these. • Vendors must clearly display prices and product names. • Each vendor must abide by all state and federal regulations that govern the production, harvest, preparation, preservation, labeling, and safety of products offered for sale. Vendors are liable for their products. • Vendors will avoid argumentative behavior with other vendors and staff during market hours. After market hours, vendors and staff may engage in conflict resolution and vendors may submit written complaints to the market director. • A vendor may submit to the market director a written complaint against another vendor where there is believed to be a violation of market rules. The director will investigate the complaint and attempt to obtain detailed information before determining whether a violation did occur. • Vendors cannot solicit at the market or sell from anywhere other than their assigned space. Vendors who break this rule will be asked to leave the market, and their membership will be revoked. • Vendors cannot be affiliated with, give out information on, display signs or signage, or campaign in any way for or against any political figure or political candidate. • Small children brought to the market by vendors or market attendees must always be kept under the supervision of a designated adult. • Vendors are not permitted to set up signs or promotional swag anywhere other than their assigned space. • Vendors are not allowed to pack up and leave before the close of the market unless the vendor clears it with the market staff before the market day or the vendor sells out of inventory. • Any accident or injury must be immediately reported to 911 and the market staff. • Profane or explicit signs and products are not permitted at the market.
